A 68 year old female presented with the complaint of hair loss which started 8-10 years back with loss of hair in frontal area gradually progressing backwards...patient was first seen in clinic around 3 years back with complaint of thinning of scalp hair... we suggested scalp biopsy to rule out Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia vs Androgenetic Alopecia... considering age of onset and pattern. Biopsy was inconclusive. Patient was started on minoxidil 5% foam once daily application with biotin. Routine investigations like serum vitamin d and iron profile were done and supplements started for same. Patient followed up till a year with stoppage of hairloss but no regrowth was noted. She was lost to follow up. She came back 3 years later ready for transplant. She was given 1410 grafts by FUE technique with good results.
